One of the most beautiful examples of Turk-Muslim architecture, Kestane Bazaar Mosque is found between Basdurak and Sadirvan Mosque. Its walls are made of dimension stone. It takes light inside the structure and around itself more than any Mosque in Kemeralti, also it’s one of the most spacious.
According to its epitaph, it was constructed in 1663 by Eminzade Hacı Ahmet Aga. It was damaged highly in the Big Fire of Smyrna. After the restorations, it took its shape today.
